Allie Williams
Dog Trainer
Hi there! I'm Allie and this is my boy, Dalinar.

He's the reason I'm now offering dog training sessions. Let me explain-

I grew up w/ a love for animals (and mild obsession w/ all things dogs). In fact, I always wanted to be a dog trainer (and a zoo keeper!) as a kid. But I ended up going into medicine (that's my ‘day job’) and that dream of working 1:1 w/ dogs was put on hold.
I got Dalinar back in Sep 2024. It's been so fun teaching him things! We do functional obedience, scent-work, and tricks. I love training him and learning new dog training methods. Regrettably, he ended up with very significant genetic temperament issues. That part was NOT fun.
Because of this I've spent countless hours studying EVERYTHING I could about dog training, reactivity, fear, confidence building, training with play, and balanced methods (this means I do also use corrective methods when necessary like a prong collar or e collar) to help him work through triggers. I’ve done innumerable dog training workshops so I could become the dog handler my dog needed me to be. And I did just that.
When people see us out and about I often get asked if I'm a dog trainer. Fortunately, his training speaks for itself even if he is not the most confident dog. But I purposefully share his background to be honest with you that dog training is not perfect and some dogs need more help in certain areas than others.
All that to say- enough people on our walks around the neighborhood have requested some help with their dogs seeing how well-behaved Mr. Dalinar is and I’m more than happy to help share everything I’ve learned with you so you too can live well with your pet.
